  • To pledge ultra-vassalship to a Planetary Baron,
  • To market an invention having limited utility in their home environment, such as zero-gravity horseshoes.
  • To hide for a year and a day to attain freeman status
  • To discover if bathing is dangerous under different suns.
  • To expose human dung to the energies of the early universe.
  • To avoid a curse.
  • To endure a curse.
  • To find the next Goblin Market.
  • To look for someone who went missing during an eclipse.
  • To try to return to their home planet.
  • No reason given; journey was accidental.
